I went in expecting a lot of work and found that but at no point was I overwhelmed thanks to the expert training I was given. Amazing! Couldn't have wished for a more relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Everything is in one place: school, rooms, pool, pool bar. So important on such an intensive course. Our trainer was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about all aspects of ESOL teaching. Always calm and able to answer any questions put to her Support was excellent even when our trainer was very busy she would stop and help. Never made us feel like we couldn’t knock on her door. Mihaela and Victor were the perfect hosts. I will highly recommend both the course and the hotel to anyone interested in a TESOL course.

I expected an intensive course, and there’s a lot of ground covered in four weeks, but I was surprised by the quality and the holistic/human course delivery. The trainer was very generous. Provided a model of how to create an environment for growth and learning. Generously shared knowledge and skills. Offered support, time, respected individual styles. Always there, always present, always herself. The accommodation was perfect. Good to have a quiet space and all the hotel spaces for meeting and chatting. There is nothing I read before coming on the course that prepared me for the potential for personal growth that Mihaela made possible. Maybe you could find the words cos’ I can’t. Tutor was exceptional! Extremely knowledgeable and able to convey material in a simple manner. Extremely patient as well. Course content was diverse. The range of topics covered was perfect. From what to teach, how to teach, to what we do when we leave here. Excellent. I don’t feel lost. Everyone (teacher and director) were excellent and understanding of what students need. Please do not leave Crete until I am able to visit you all! That is my latest goal-to visit Crete and Victor and Mihaela. With Heather’s support I am sure we can make it happen. And if your travels ever take you to the United States and to the state of Ohio, you will find a small suburb near Toledo and Detroit Michigan called Maumee (Maw mee). INTESOL-Greece is fantastic! It's the experience of a lifetime! The location, accommodation, classes, staff - everything is simply wonderful! At home in the U.S. I am a high school history teacher so I have taken my share of education classes. But our trainer, Mihaela, is the best instructor I have ever had! She organizes the material in a clear and logical way and brings such energy to the classroom that you can't help but be excited about your progress. We were never at a loss for guidance, creative ideas or support - on ALL levels. Obtaining a TESOL certificate has opened so many doors for me and I can't wait to put it to work while exploring our world at the same time! I recommend this course to everyone - without a doubt!

Hybrid course

Many people have either personal or professional commitments that do not allow them to take the full 4-week residential course. We therefore offer a flexible TEFL / TESOL course option of distance learning combined with two-week face-to-face instruction . The final certificate awarded is the same certificate trainees receive on the 4-week intensive course. The feature of the hybrid course is the flexibility it offers teacher trainees. You can work at your own pace on the distance-learning component, allowing you the time to read and absorb the materials before starting the two-week face-to-face tutorial sessions and teaching practice.

Certificate in TESOL

THIS IS A DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE

Our most popular TESOL course and a minimum requirement for most ESL employers worldwide.
Graduates of this course are generally guaranteed employment!
Word of advice: Most employers would give priority to theose applicants whose TESOL certificates include Teaching Practice; therefore it is advisable for you to do the Teaching Practice at our centre to get the Teaching Practice certificate as well.

Teaching Practice Certificate

INTESOL is the first TESOL/TEFL training provider to offer its Cert TESOL trainees studying by distance learning the option to take a full week of observed teaching practice. We have subsequently been able to develop a practice that will significantly enhance your skills and confidence not only in the classroom, but also during job interviews.

A 40-hour course to introduce you to the basics of TEFL/TESOL. For those of you who prefer a slower start, this course might be exactly what you need. It can be taken on site for two or three weekends or as a five-day course during the week.

Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners

The Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners is a specially designed course for those who would like to acquire additional skills to teach children and teenagers. You can take this course either on site as a 4 day intensive course or as a distance course following the Certificate in TESOL Course.

This course is ideal if you:

Plan to specialise in teaching English to young learners in your future career.
Are currently teaching English to young learners and would like to develop a greater understanding of successful methods for the classroom.

Certificate in English Grammar

This is a distance learning certificate course suitable for anyone wishing to improve their knowledge of English grammar, tense and structure.

It can be taken before or after a TESOL course or as a free-standing course for those who just want to improve their grammar for their own personal satisfaction.

The course consists of modules which each contain self-assessed exercises and tasks to be submitted to your personal trainer. Evaluation is done is through continual assessment.

Certificate in English for Specific Purposes (ESP)

This is a distance course. We are increasingly being asked to supply teachers who are trained in and qualified to teach English for Specific Purposes (ESP). If you would like to be fully prepared for any teaching situation you may wish to consider an additional qualification and take the Certificate in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) to follow on from the Certificate in TESOL.
